New Year New Life!

With the arrival of a new year, it is very common to make our ‘New Year Promises’. The month of January is in the middle, it’s positive thinking here, wishes there …

We make goal lists, plan to do a thousand and one things. This kind of practice becomes important to many people, seen as a process of renewal, hope, change, expectation, perspective. However, it is not enough to just think, write and plan, you have to act.

Be it in any area of life, if you want it to be better, you have to do it differently than it has always been done. There is no point in saying that next year will be different if you do not do the opposite of what you have always done. It is possible, yes, with attitude changes, habits, reflections and, above all, actions.

The quest for a better life must be constant. We must be better every day. Every detail makes a difference. Certain changes, however minimal, can have a huge impact on everyday life and provide good feelings.

Thinking differently is also interesting. From the moment we think, feel and behave in the face of situations with more attention, we are able to do something much better, with even better results than we expect.

For example, if the project is to lose weight, it is necessary to reflect on what it is necessary to change in habits and practices, in order to achieve this goal. If the dream is to acquire some good, look for ways to review finances and economize. If you want to meet new people, expand the circle of friends, meet someone special, it is important to seek new places. Finally, reflecting on what we are doing and what we want to accomplish is necessary.

Tony Robbins, World’s one of the most influential motivational speaker was once quoted during one of his Unleash the Power Within Seminar in London, where he said: “If you do what you’ve always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten”. So it’s very clear different results only happen with different attitudes. It is never too late to review what we do and not propose to do the opposite of what we have always done. Only then will we be closer to realizing our dreams, pursuing new goals, and allowing us to surprise ourselves with what we are capable of doing.

A new year has begun, we are constantly moving. Faced with this, changing at all times, we will allow ourselves to change, recognize our ability to go beyond what we think we can go. May we be open and willing for the new, to do, to start again what it takes.

New Year can and should be a new life, yes!
