A daily dose of inspiration can be like a ‘Splash of water on a Sleepy Face’ and it may make a big difference in your outlook on life.
Keeping a positive outlook is proven to help with stress management, but when someone says to “think positive” or “be optimistic” during a time such as cancer, it can be much easier said than done. We know that cancer isn’t all rainbows, butterflies and unicorns and once you enter a dark mindset, it can be hard to get out of it. But most of us should have that one message of hope that somehow manages to help bring some perspective and optimism to a situation.
𝟏 – 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐋𝐈𝐕𝐄
When you smile your teeth out to someone who dislikes you, it confuses them. Take the same approach – What determines is Live your Life by your own terms, the way you want and not the way your illness wants you to. Do you what you like to do & the way you want to do it
𝟐 – 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐀𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐉𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄𝐘
Looking ahead on how many miles are left may worry you, but the moment you see how many miles you have come, it will astonish you. It can be easy to get caught up in how far you have to go. Don’t forget to look back, and recognize how far you have come. Every day brings you one step closer.
𝟑 – 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐍 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊
We do tend to undermine ourselves many a times, think we are lesser, smaller not stronger. STOP THAT! – You are more than what you think you are!
You have to keep on believing in yourself and your self worth. Every day, every moment, keep reminding yourself that you’re a Smarter, Stronger, Prettier than what you or anyone thinks.
Don’t let cancer make you to sell yourself short or forget your worth.
𝟒 – 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝟎 𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒
At times you may not see the light at the end of the tunnel – this just means, squint your eyes, remove those doubtful glasses and see straight. It says the one who fall down and get back up again is victorious. Hence when you think all the options to stay happy and motivated are done – push yourself once more; you will see not one but many more options.
𝟓 –𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐆𝐄
Everyone gets hurt while riding the bicycle for the first time, but that scar doesn’t stop us from learning how to ride. Wear your scar proudly, because you overcame what pushed you down and have emerged victorious. Never be ashamed of a scar. It simply means you were stronger than whatever tried to hurt you.
